The Matters of the Heart

We need to realize that our own insensitivity has driven the anointing of the Holy Ghost from many of our lives and our churches. We need to realize that the license we’ve given ourselves to criticize other members of the Body of Christ has weakened us all.
What will strengthen us again? The Power and the anointing of the Holy Ghost that falls on every sensitive and seeking heart.
Saints, people of God, let us regain the tender heart we once had. Loving and caring, and being heartily concerned about each other. You are my brother! You are my sister! We are of the same household of faith, God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior. We are all that each other have. We cannot expect the world, or the things in the world, to be sensitive to our needs as believes of Christ. WE ARE ALL THAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS! We MUST love one another.
We must remove the callouses within us by repentance, by a commitment to live the law of love, by a renewed devotion to the Word, and by fellowship with our Heavenly Father.
Don’t allow the condition of our hearts to hold back the Spirit of God from us. Let us be sensitive again! When you hurt, I hurt! When you are in need, I will make myself available to you in whatever way I can. When you are hungry and I have a piece of bread, half of that slice is yours. I will pray for you. I will keep you lifted before God. We are sisters and brothers in Christ. One day we are planning to live together with our Heavenly Father. We better get into practice now. Later just might be too late. They are ganging up on us. ALL WE HAVE IS EACH OTHER! Don’t allow Satan to turn us against each other. Let’s LOVE hard and real!

The Matters of the Heart

Jesus said as long as you live in the world, you are going to have trouble. (How many can vouch for that?) But, you are not just in the world. You are in JESUS in the world, and that makes all the difference. You are in him and he has overcome every kind of trouble there is.

As a child of God, you are not the defeated trying to get victory. You are the overcomer, and Satan is trying to rob you of the victory that already belongs to you. God told Joshua before the battle of Ai in Joshua 8, “…see, I have given into thy hands the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land.” The victory was already given to them by God.

When you made Jesus the Lord of your life, you were born into victory, because the VICTOR came to live in you. Think about it. The victorious Jesus. The Anointed One. The glorified and resurrected Lord. The Ruler of the Universe now abides in you. You are in HIS family now. So, “be not afraid or dismayed,” Jesus lives in you! You have the VICTORY if you want it!

Obey God (walk in obedience). Keep his Commandments. Do what he tells you to do, and victory is yours if you want it.
