The Matters of the Heart

We MUST cover our hearts in prayer. It is so very easy to allow the devil to bring something that will disturb our peace, and cause us to look at our sisters and brothers differently. We’ve got to guard our hearts, love everybody and treat people the way we want to be treated. It is the enemies mission, did you hear me, MISSION, to separate the body of Christ. To cause us to fight against each other while our sons and daughters, our city, and nation goes to hell on a one way street. Let’s forgive! Let’s love! Let’s pray and seek the face of God. We need God to help us. Whomever we are, WE NEED GOD TO HELP US and HAVE MERCY on us!

SIDE NOTE…I think social media is a trick that the devil has imposed to put a split in the body of Christ. We bite, devour and tare one another apart on social media. Recognize it for what it is. We are not ignorant to the devices of Satan. Let’s get back on the prayer wagon in a hurry. Lives depend on us.

The Matters of the Heart

Let the church say AMEN! Let the church say AMEN. God has spoken, let the church say AMEN! … FATHER! Bring us back to prayer. Bring us back to calling on your name, laying at the altar and crying out to you. So many other things are taking the place of prayer in so many lives today. Teach us to pray…Teach us what to pray! Revive our prayer life. Help us to DO your WORD, and NOT just say it! HELP GOD! HELP OUR HOMES! HELP OUR SCHOOLS! HELP OUR COMMUNITIES! HELP OUR CHILDREN! HELP US TO LEAD SOMEONE TO CHRIST! Pray without ceasing in Jesus name.

The Matters of the Heart

What kind of examples are we setting for our children? How do we live in front of them? Can they see the love of Christ in us? Do they learn to pray by hearing us pray? When they are having troubles and difficulties in their lives, do they have a mom or a dad that they can turn to and ask, “Will you pray for me?” Do they trust our prayers enough to entrust their lives with our prayers? Can they request YOUR prayers and expect a change? Would they even consider asking?

FATHER GOD, help us in Jesus name.
