If parents don’t encourage, inspire, cheer, boost and support their own child/children, the world surely will not. They need to hear “Good job” from your mouth. They need to feel you are proud of what they are doing, and for their efforts they make every day in school and in life. It’s no time to drop the ball on this one. Don’t praise no one else’s child louder and stronger than your praise your own.
Something I read this morning that was right on time. A little lengthy but keep on reading…
You may be thinking, “Can a few people like us actually change the whole nation?” Let me ask you this: Can one demonic person change a nation for the worse? Definitely. Hitler did it in Germany, didn’t he? Then if the devil’s power resting on a man can change a nation for the worse, you can be sure that a group of men and women with God’s power resting on them can change a nation for the better.
No nation is so far gone that God can’t change it. Israel proved that. Why, even when it didn’t exist, the devil could’t destroy it. God raised it back up before his very eyes.
I want you to notice something in that scripture. It says, “If MY people, which are called by MY name…” God didn’t say it would take everybody in the nation to get things turned around. He said, “If MY people.”
Notice also that he didn’t say, “If my people will get out there and sign petitions and drum up a majority vote…” He said, “Pray.” In other words, we’re going to have to quit trying to work this thing out by ourselves. GOD himself will do the healing in this land. Our job is to pray, to believe, and to seek his face. Seek him today. AMEN
People of God, let’s do what the Lord told us to do PRAY. Can you say PRAY? We want to do everything else but what the Lord commanded us to do PRAY. Can you say PRAY? The Lord is calling HIS people to enter, again, into our secret closets, turn from our wicked ways and seek him. PRAYER is the key that unlocks all doors that should be opened, and shuts every door that needs to be shut. In Jesus name.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness. – Proverbs 15: 1, 2.
The cattle on a thousand hills belong to our God. Our Father is rich with houses and land; he holds the wealth of the world in his hands. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we were healed.
Isn’t it amazing how we can quote so many scriptures concerning the issues of our life, yet, sometimes our faith is lacking in the same scriptures that we quote. Do we doubt that God can? No! Do we doubt that God has the ability and strength to do it? No! But sometimes, let’s be honest, sometimes the question arises in the hearts and minds of believers, WHEN? When God? When God? When God? What we MUST do is, keep holding on to the promises of God because God cannot lie. God is not man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. He said, “Have I not said it? Will I not do it?” We’ve got to continue to hold on to the promises of God by faith and in due time he will do just what he said he will do.
