Matters of the Heart

Something I read this morning. Let’s lengthy but keep reading.
Remember when you first got into the Word and were so excited about the things of God? Remember when you could hardly wait to read the next chapter in the Bible or listen to the latest teaching tape? (Remember when it was a joy to rise early in the morning and have that special time with God?… spcj) There was only one word to describe you, HOT! Your reborn spirit was on fire for God…hungry to find out everything he had promised..in his word. My total interest was the Word of God.
But slowly that changed. At first I didn’t even realize it was happening. Then the Holy Spirit went to work on me and showed me that I had grown lukewarm. I had let the fire die down. I still read the Word, but I had lost my enthusiasm.
(How do I get my love back? How do I get my fire back?…spcj)
God’s word says to draw near to him and he will draw near to you. In order to do that you will have to first drop the things that are stealing your time from reading the word. Delight yourself in his word. Become diligent again. If you will give your attention to the things of God soon your desire for God will increase. Your desire will follow your attention. The more you attend to something, the more your desire is drawn to give attention to that thing. Your soul’s desire will follow whatever you spend your time doing. Start building yourself up by praying in the Spirit. (Reading the Word of Again again…spcj). Believe and act on everything God says to you. Before long that flicker that’s been wavering in your spirit will grow again into an all-consuming FIRE! Rekindle the Fire! In Jesus name.

Matters of the Heart

God’s mercy endureth forever! How many of you believe this? God’s mercy! God’s mercy! God’s mercy! His willingness to act on our behalf is still operating in the earth. His mercy never runs out. He is still plenteous in mercy unto them that call upon him. With your whole heart reach out to him, stretch your faith and take the boundless mercy of God. “For God so loved the world that he gave…” He gave his Son for me and you. Reach out to him today.

Matters of the Heart

I read a short sentence this morning that is power packed. “Together we can accomplish wonders, divided we will accomplish nothing.” My! My! What a word! UNITY…The church must come together in UNITY. The only way we are going to defeat the enemy is through PRAYER and UNITY. It’s time for us to set aside our personal agendas and grab the agenda of God. Precious souls are dying, and guess what? God is holding this to someone’s hands. It’s time for the spirit of trying to outdo one another to be cast out and come together and do the work of the Lord. I bind DISCORD and the spirit of OUTDO in the name of Jesus, and I speak UNITY among Pastors. I speak UNITY among the people of God. Our families need us (husbands and wives and children, NEED US.) It does not matter who says pray, PRAY! It does mot matter who says it’s time to fast, FAST. “TOGETHER WE CAN ACCOMPLISH WONDERS, DIVIDED WE WILL ACCOMPLISH NOTHING..” This morning the cry is UNITY within the body of Christ, in Jesus name. #ourwarcryisholy

Matters of the Heart

HEAR AND GIVE AN EAR PEOPLE EVERYWHERE….YOUNG, OLD, RICH AND POOR!
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord..” KJV
“Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.” MSG
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” NIV
Which do you choose?

Matters of the Heart

MY HEART THIS MORNING…If parents don’t encourage, inspire, cheer, boost and support their own child/children, the world surely will not. They need to hear “Good job” from your mouth. They need to feel you are proud of what they are doing, and for their efforts they make every day in school and in life. It’s no time to drop the ball on this one. Don’t praise no one else’s child louder and stronger than your praise your own.

Matters of the Heart

Something I read this morning that was right on time. A little lengthy but keep on reading…
You may be thinking, “Can a few people like us actually change the whole nation?” Let me ask you this: Can one demonic person change a nation for the worse? Definitely. Hitler did it in Germany, didn’t he? Then if the devil’s power resting on a man can change a nation for the worse, you can be sure that a group of men and women with God’s power resting on them can change a nation for the better.
No nation is so far gone that God can’t change it. Israel proved that. Why, even when it didn’t exist, the devil could’t destroy it. God raised it back up before his very eyes.
I want you to notice something in that scripture. It says, “If MY people, which are called by MY name…” God didn’t say it would take everybody in the nation to get things turned around. He said, “If MY people.”
Notice also that he didn’t say, “If my people will get out there and sign petitions and drum up a majority vote…” He said, “Pray.” In other words, we’re going to have to quit trying to work this thing out by ourselves. GOD himself will do the healing in this land. Our job is to pray, to believe, and to seek his face. Seek him today. AMEN
People of God, let’s do what the Lord told us to do PRAY. Can you say PRAY? We want to do everything else but what the Lord commanded us to do PRAY. Can you say PRAY? The Lord is calling HIS people to enter, again, into our secret closets, turn from our wicked ways and seek him. PRAYER is the key that unlocks all doors that should be opened, and shuts every door that needs to be shut. In Jesus name.
